Berimbau: apanha laranja or santa maria
A quick berimbau tutorial on the toque (rhythm) of Apanha Laranja.
Some may know this as Santa Maria, but not those following Mestre Bimba's tradition.

x - buzz or ti (lightly press the rock on the wire, gourd against your body)
o - open or dom (rock is off the wire, hit under where the rock would be placed. Move the cabaca (gourd) away from your body)
● - closed or dim (rock is pressed firmly on the wire. no buzz should be heard. cabaca away from your body)
